How Weekend, Weekly, and Monthly Discounts Work in Our Application

General Information

To provide guests with more value and encourage longer stays, our application offers various discount options: weekend, weekly, and monthly discounts. All discounts can be set by the host of the property.

Weekend Discount

Typically applies to stays from Friday to Saturday. When a guest books a stay that includes the weekend days (Friday, Saturday), the weekend price is automatically applied to the booking total. Please follow the steps below to set up a weekend discount:

  1. Navigate to the User Panel > Listing.
  2. Click on Manage Listing of the particular property.
  3. Go to the Pricing section.
  4. Click on Weekend Prices.
  5. A new field will be shown.
  6. Provide your price for the weekend (not in percentage).
  7. Click Next.

Now, the price will be added to bookings for the weekend days (Friday, Saturday).

Weekly Discount

Typically applies to stays of 7 consecutive nights. When a guest books a stay for 7 consecutive nights, the weekly discount is automatically applied to the booking total. The host needs to declare the weekly discount. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the User Panel > Listing.
  2. Click on Manage Listing of the particular property.
  3. Go to the Pricing section.
  4. Click on Weekly and Monthly Prices.
  5. A new field will be shown.
  6. Provide your discount percentage for the weekly discount.
  7. Click Next.

Now, a certain discount will be added to weekly (7 nights) bookings.

Monthly Discount

Typically applies to stays of 30 consecutive nights. When a guest books a stay for 30 consecutive nights, the monthly discount is automatically applied to the booking total. The host needs to declare the monthly discount. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the User Panel > Listing.
  2. Click on Manage Listing of the particular property.
  3. Go to the Pricing section.
  4. Click on Weekly and Monthly Prices.
  5. A new field will be shown.
  6. Provide your discount percentage for the monthly discount.
  7. Click Next.

Now, a certain discount will be added to monthly (30 nights) bookings.

By following these steps, hosts can effectively set up and manage weekend, weekly, and monthly discounts to attract more guests and encourage longer stays.
